Ground Up Child Care Rules
1. Attendance
If your child or children will be absent please call us immediately.
2. Late
If your child or children will be attending day care or night care late please call (402-451-7095)
We would like all kids to be here by 10am.
3. Clothing
Parents, please write your child’s name in their clothing especially coats, jackets, and hats. (A lot of our children have clothing alike).
4. Transportation
Please explain to your child about the transportation rules. Each child is to stay seated, with their seat belt fastened and also please make sure before pick-ups and drop-offs that if you’re not going to be at the location when the driver arrives call in advance so we don’t make a blank trip.
5. Diaper Changing
Parents make sure that your child is dry before putting the on the van and bringing them into daycare.
6. Pottie Training
Parents, please send a change of clothing for your child/children also extra training pants or pull-ups.
7. Permission Slips
If/when we send out permission slips with a return date we would like it back on that day or before.
8. Medicine
The only way we can give medication to a child: we need a written permission slip from the doctor as well as the parents regardless of what kind of medication. If the child is taking medication daily we need a written statement from the doctor.
9. Illness
If your child becomes ill you will be notified immediately, the child.children may not remail at the day care if the following symptoms are present:
- Temperature 101 degrees or above
- Persistent diarrhea or vomiting, skin rash
- Sore eyes with discharge as well as ears
- Evidence of contagious disease (head lice), chickenpox, measles, mumps, etc.
If your child has any of these symptoms at home do not bring them to child care.
